Habitat: Oak woodlad/Chaparral. Mostly granite with some reddish clays.
Associated Species: Quercus agrifolia, Salix laevigata, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Artemisia californica, Platanus racemosa and Ceanothus tomentosus.
Description: Shrub to 2 m tall, flowers yellow; common.
Phenology: Flowering
