Description: 4: 6 -10-inch sprawling to ascending herbs with opposite oblanceolate 1.5 - 2cm leaves and alternating flattened flowers along terminal stems with green ovular to oblanceolate leaflike halves forming a sheath and pale brown to orangish petals emergent along the slit between the halves of some flowers.
Notes: A relatively common plant on the open slope.
